Enter the GPU you’re considering, what you’re being asked to pay, and your target resolution. You’ll get two things back: a Deal Check (is this price good relative to current market value?) and a Rational Buyer Score (is this GPU actually worth buying at any price for what you’re trying to do?). Those are different questions — and both matter.
What your results mean:
Deal Check compares the price you entered against current market data — new retail and used market transactions. Great Deal means you’re below expected value. No Go means you’re overpaying relative to what this GPU typically sells for.
Rational Buyer Score goes deeper. It tells you whether this GPU is a rational purchase for your use case at this price — accounting for real-world performance, diminishing returns, and whether there are smarter ways to spend the same money.
